Benidorm is a seaside resort on the Eastern Coast of Spain, part of the Valencia region`s famous Costa Blanca.  Originally a tiny fishing village till the 1960s, it is now a popular Mediterranean holiday destination known for its fine beaches and vibrant nightlife.  It has 2 wide sandy beaches, namely Levante Beach and Poniente Beach, backed by palm-lined promenades, bars and rows of skyscrapers.  Close by, one can also find numerous water parks, theme & adventure parks, animal/nature parks, a famous mountain village, the picturesque Algar Waterfalls as well as the world-known Benidorm Palace, boasting international production shows.

Programe

Day 1 | Meet at the airport at 4.30am to board Ryanair flight to Valencia.  On arrival, transfer to Valencia City Centre for a half day city tour, including Valencia Cathedral, La Ionja, Mercado Central, Turia Gardens and the Historical Old City.  Free time for lunch, followed by transfer to our 4* hotel in Benidorm.  Check in and free time for leisure, followed by a familiarization walk in Benidorm in the evening.

Day 2 | Breakfast followed by a full day at Aqualandia Waterpark.  Located in an area of exceptional natural beauty, the park offers a variety of water attractions for all ages.  It also offers use of picnic areas, a souvenir shop, photography, ATM service, locker rental, safe deposit boxes, hammock rental and floats.  Aqualandia has several self-service restaurants, a snack bar, barbecue, pizzeria, hamburger restaurant, different kiosks, ice-cream parlours, coffee shops, crepe kiosk and a kebab kiosk, all set in large green landscaped areas that have been repopulated with the most varied vegetation typical of the region.

Day 3 | Full day guided tour to Algar Waterfalls and Guandalest Mountain Village where one can experience the natural beauty and culture of Spain’s countryside.  Algar Waterfalls, including the Algar riverside and natural parks, is situation only 20 kms from the city centre.  It includes 2 museums (the environmental museum and the water museum) and 5 restaurants close to the waterfall.  Guandalest Mountain Village is like an eagle’s nest carved into the mountains.  The tour will include a visit to the castle ruins and the original 12th century jail, while enjoying magnificent views across the valley.

Day 4 | Breakfast followed by a tour in Benidorm Centre and a visit to Rincon De Loix Market.  Free time will be allocated for shopping.

Day 5 | Full day excursion to Terra Mitica, a theme and adventure park including rides, roller coasters and live entertainment.  It is divided into 5 themed zones; Egypt, Greece, Rome, Iberia and the Islands (of the Mediterranean).

Day 6 | Half Day Excursion to Mundomar, a marine wildlife and exotic animals park appealing to children, young people and adults.  The park has different species of mammals, birds and reptiles, together with live shows and the possibility of special experiences such as swimming with sea lions, having an encounter with dolphins or taking a photo with different animals.

In the evening, the Benidorm Palace evening tour will visit the production show theatre with live performances featuring the Beatles, Britney Spears, David Bowie, Beyonce, Star Wars, Super Mario, Michael Jackson and more.  Guests are offered a free cocktail/drink with the entrance fee.

Day 7 | Breakfast followed by a full day excursion to Terra Natura, a theme park for the whole family located only 5km from the city centre.  This zoological park develops educational and conservation work to promote the planet’s biodiversity through its participation in different international programs for the reproduction of species in danger of extinction.  It has 1,500 animals belonging to 200 different species, 54 of which are endangered.  The habitats of the supercontinent Pangea are recreated, as well as the continents of America, Asia and Europe, offering the opportunity to experience exotic places and discover their folklore, culture, customs, gastronomy, crafts and their flora and fauna without setting foot outside Benidorm.

Day 8 | Return transfer to Valencia Airport for our Ryanair flight back to Malta departing at 9.30am.
