Thursday 26 October | Check-in at airport at 2 am for our Airmalta flight to Thessaloniki departing at 4 am. After arrival, transfer to hotel for early check in and breakfast. In the afternoon there will be a free city excursion led by an English speaking guide. We will get an insight of the most important landmarks such as Galeria complex, Rotunda triumphal arch, Via Egnatia with its medieval churches, the holocaust memorial and the white Tower of Thessaloniki amongst others. Greece is also famous for wines and many vintners cultivate indigenous grape varieties. Some wine shops in Thessaloniki offer local wines and you may wish to visit one of the wine shops in the city centre. Dinner (extra) and overnight.
Friday 27 October | Enjoy breakfast and after you may wish to explore the city centre with its many shops and tavernas. Shopping in Thessaloniki Greece is a pleasure – there’s excellent shopping for fashions, specialty foods, antiques, books, and unique souvenirs. For many visitors Thessaloniki is a major shopping destination. You may also visit the famous and oldest Kapani market offering an incredible unique experience. In the evening we suggest you take a short taxi ride and eat at the popular and modern tavern ‘Ektos Ton Teixon’ located in one of the most beautiful areas of the city!
Saturday 28 October | Following breakfast enjoy a relaxing day in the city centre and stroll along the promenade to the White Tower. In the afternoon you may wish to take a taxi-ride and visit the Mediterranean Cosmos Shopping Mall and later you may wish to visit the nearby Magic Park, the Number1 entertainment destination in Thessaloniki! This park is a beautiful and safe entertainment park with countless action and skill games for all age groups: kids, adolescents & adults.
Sunday 29 October | Another day and another day of shopping experiences in the city for every taste! Thessaloniki has excellent luxury shopping and boutique shopping, as well as vintage clothing. You’ll find many local craftspeople creating elegant contemporary goods. And antique shopping and flea market browsing are great in a city like this, with such a rich historic setting. If you prefer the urban shopping experience, you can enjoy a day shopping right in the downtown on Tsimiski, the main Thessaloniki shopping street. Room check out of hotel at around 6pm. There will be free time in Thessaloniki for dinner (not incl) in one of the numerous restaurants nearby with a late evening transfer to the airport. Flight to Malta departs at 1.20 am (30 Oct) and arrival in Malta is expected at 01.50 am.
