DAY 1 | Your adventure begins as you meet your tour leader at Malta International Airport at 0700hrs. Prepare to embark on an exciting journey. Upon arrival, immerse yourself in the enchanting Christmas Market at Marienplatz, Munich’s oldest Christmas market dating back to the 14th century. Take some time to explore central Munich and don’t miss the chance to visit the largest Kripperlmarkt, offering a delightful selection of items for a genuine nativity setup. You will find unique treasures at each stall, including oriental nativity scenes and alpine mini versions. Later, check-in at your hotel in Wagrain and savour dinner en route, making the most of your time in central Munich.

DAY 2 | After breakfast, visit the Bavarian national park of Berchtesgaden, pausing at the scenic Lake Königssee, surrounded by breathtaking mountain views. In Berchtesgaden, be awed by the grandeur of the towering Watzmann mountain overlooking the town houses, collegiate church, and royal castle. Delight in the charm of the Advent huts, where you’ll experience traditional customs, craftsmanship, and alpine folk music. Continue to Bad Reichenhall, where a delightful Christmas Market awaits at Rathausplatz, offering a delightful array of culinary treats and handmade goods, infused with the scents of gingerbread, cinnamon, mulled wine, and more. Dinner at the hotel.

DAY 3 | Today, you have the option to join your group for a full-day excursion to Salzburg’s Christmas Market. This magical market attracts countless visitors every Christmas season, offering a diverse selection of enchanting gifts and delights. Afterward, head to the Hellbrunner, where you’ll discover charming huts filled with delectable treats. Do note that dinner will not be served at the hotel, allowing you to fully enjoy these splendid Christmas markets.

DAY 4 | Enjoy breakfast before heading to Zell am See, where artfully decorated stalls offer delicious regional delicacies and traditional arts and crafts. Next, explore Kitzbühel, known for its rich traditions and festive charm during the Christmas season. The town’s colourful facades create a winter fairytale ambiance. Discover over 30 lovingly decorated stalls featuring regional delicacies and traditional handicrafts. Savor mulled wine from newly designed Advent cups as local choirs and music groups fill the air with delightful melodies. Children can partake in various festive activities, enjoy carousel rides or visit the Christkindl post office. Afterwards, head to the charming town center in St. Johann. The Christmas cabins offer an ever-changing array of lovingly crafted hand-crafts and homemade treats. Dinner will be served at the hotel.

DAY 5 | Opt for a full-day optional excursion to the Salzkammergut region, known as the Lake District of Austria. Your first stop is St. Gilgen, nestled on the shores of Wolfgangsee, where baroque-style decorated stalls beckon visitors. Continue your journey to St. Wolfgang, where candles and torches add a magical ambiance to the Christmas market. Finally, reach Mondsee, where a captivating Christmas market takes place in front of the famous basilica. Enjoy the culinary delicacies available in Mondsee.

DAY 6 | After breakfast, return to Munich airport for your flight back to Malta, carrying cherished memories and treats for your loved ones.
