FRIDAY 04 DECEMBER

Your adventure begins as you meet your tour leader at Malta International Airport for your direct flight to Munich. Up on arrival, transfer to Munich city centre to experience the festive atmosphere of its Christmas markets. Main squares transform into wonderlands of wooden stalls, twinkling lights, handcrafted ornaments, nutcrackers, and glass baubles. The scent of roasted almonds, gingerbread, and mulled wine fills the air as choirs and brass bands perform. After soaking in the festive spirit, continue your scenic journey into Austria, with an (extra) dinner stop en route.

SATURDAY 05 DECEMBER

After breakfast, head to Zell am See, where the lakeside Christmas market, set against snow-covered peaks, offers wooden huts with regional crafts, candles, and seasonal treats. Warm up with spiced punch while festive music fills the air. Continue to Burg Kaprun, where the historic castle hosts Advent events with traditional stalls and medieval décor. Later, visit St. Johann im Pongau, where smaller markets showcase authentic Austrian crafts and handmade gifts. Dinner is included at the hotel.

SUNDAY 06 DECEMBER

Travel to Schloss Hellbrunn, home to one of the region’s most romantic Advent markets, with fairy lights, decorated trees, artisanal crafts, and baked treats. Continue to St. Gilgen, known for its intimate lakeside market and traditional music, then visit St. Wolfgang, where lanterns float over the lake and nativity scenes line the streets, creating a storybook Christmas atmosphere. Dinner (extra) in one of the many restarants.

MONDAY 07 DECEMBER

Begin with a scenic excursion to Jägersee, surrounded by tranquil winter alpine scenery. Continue to Designer Outlet Salzburg for festive shopping before exploring Salzburg’s renowned Christmas markets, especially the Christkindlmarkt in the historic old town. Cathedral squares glow as stalls display handcrafted decorations, candles, and seasonal treats. The scent of cinnamon and cloves fills the air while choirs perform beneath the baroque skyline. Dinner is included at the hotel.

TUESDAY 08 DECEMBER (PH)

Depart Wagrain for Lake Gosau, where the snowy landscape offers a serene winter setting. Continue to Hallstatt, whose lakeside Christmas market reflects authentic Salzkammergut traditions, offering handicrafts, regional pastries, and warming drinks in a peaceful, intimate atmosphere. Dinner (extra) enroute back to the hotel.

WEDNESDAY 09 DECEMBER

After breakfast, depart Wagrain and proceed north towards Munich. En route, enjoy a stop at Rosenheim before continuing to the airport for your onward flight.
