TUESDAY | Head to the Malta International Airport at 1230hrs noon in time for your direct flight to Cyprus aboard Emirates Airlines. Departing at 1535hrs, enjoy the multitude of services only offered by Emirates including thousands of channels, onboard Wi-fi and regional cuisine. Upon arrival take your private transfer towards the Hotel Pia Bella in central Kyrenia in time for check-in, room allocation and overnight.

WEDNESDAY | After your breakfast, join the tour leader, fellow passengers, and a local English-speaking guide for the first of the optional day excursions. Today you will be visiting Nicosia , the capital city of the Republic of Cyprus. The last divided capital in Europe, Nicosia is filled to the brim with interesting art shops, traditional caffes and numerous old and new shops targeting those bargain hunters with today’s fashion styles in mind. You will also have the opportunity to visit the Selimiye Mosque, an old Gothic style Cathedral turned into a Mosque, and the covered Bandabuliya where spices, Turkish delight, lace and other traditional souvenirs are sold. One can also have the possibility of crossing the pedestrian border between North and South Cyprus, before returning to the hotel in time for dinner (extra) and overnight.

THURSDAY | Soon after breakfast you have the opportunity to join the group for an exceptional and optional day excursion to the Karpaz Peninsula in the North-East of the country. This remote and yet untouched panhandle features herds of goats, flocks of sheep, numerous  and vast natural sandy beaches, and the world famous feral donkeys. Do get your swimming suit with you for a chance to immerse yourself in the clearest of blue seas. Later head back to the hotel for dinner (extra) and overnight.

FRIDAY | A full day optional excursion to the famous city of Famagusta awaits you today after your hearty breakfast. Start by visiting the wonderfully preserved walled old city of Famagusta. Stepped into ancient times, Famagusta and Salamis are worth a visit with their mythology, roman theatre, baths, latrines, numerous historical mosaics, and churches transferred into mosques. After a stop for lunch (extra), you will head to the ghost city of Varosha, the result of the 1974 military intervention before heading back to the hotel for dinner (optional) and overnight.

SATURDAY | Today, start your day with your daily breakfast and then head towards the exquisite ruins of the Augustinian monastery at Bellapais, but not before a visit to St. Hilarion Castle for fantastic panoramic views. Later head towards central Kyrenia, with its small and beautiful harbour, its castle and numerous shops. Dinner (optional) and overnight will follow.

SUNDAY | After early breakfast, head towards Larnaca airport in time for your flight back to Malta departing at 1405hrs.
