Corfu

WEDNESDAY | Meet your tour leader at 1300hrs for check-in of your direct flight to Corfu departing at 1500hrs. Upon arrival, transfer to the 4* Ariti Grand Hotel in Corfu for check-in and room allocation. Later join the tour leader for your (optional) buffet dinner.

THURSDAY | After your daily buffet breakfast join your tour leader for a fun day at one of the world’s largest water parks. Aqualand offers a great combination of fun, relaxation and adrenaline, through the unlimited choice of slides, twisters and hydro tubes. Fast food, souvenir shops, bars and lockers are all available within Aqualand at a fee.

FRIDAY | After breakfast, join your local English-speaking guide for a day excursion of North Corfu. Start your day by visiting a distillery and tasting one of the island’s most famous products, the “Koum Kouat” liqueur. Proceed to Paleokastritsa, which dominates the whole region and later make your way towards Sidari but not before a visit to the famous Bella Vista in Lakones. You will also have the chance to visit the Canal d’ Amour an idyllic area with unique rock formations.

SATURDAY | Today, a full day excursion awaits you at Paxos and Antipaxos. Enjoy the impressive coastline and unique white sandy beaches until you arrive at Antipaxos. Here you will have the opportunity to swim in the crystal waters of Paradise Beach. You will then proceed to Gaios, but not before sailing the narrow channel created by the islands of Panagia and Agios Nikolaos. You will be moored close to the city center of Gaios to be within walking distance of its narrow streets, numerous restaurants and taverns in time for lunch (extra). As the afternoon sun dips, head back to Corfu’s old town whilst enjoying a refreshment purchased (extra) from the bar onboard. Dinner (optional) will be served at the hotel.

SUNDAY | Buffet breakfast followed by an optional BBQ boat trip. Sail along before arriving at Kalamas on the Greek mainland. Swim, sunbathe or take part in various water sports activities (extra) whilst waiting for your barbecue lunch to be cooked and prepared. [BBQ chicken or pork, salad, tzatziki, bread, red or white wine, cola and water.]  After lunch continue your journey north where you will anchor in a small bay, with time for swimming and snorkelling. Later make your way back to Corfu, passing the port of Igoumenitsa.

MONDAY | Today, prepare your passport and join the tour leader for your private transfer towards Corfu port where you will have the chance to visit the tax-free shop before your 80-minute hydrofoil catamaran trip to Albania. Albania’s mandatory immigration fee of €12 per person will be payable on board. On arrival at the port town of Saranda spend the day exploring the beautiful port town at your own leisure or buy the guided coach excursion (€30) visiting the open market and shopping centre with the local products and to see the famous Blue Eye Spring and the village of Karahatz with its luxurious restaurant Erdano for lunch (included). On the return transfer to Saranda stop at Lekures Castle for a short coffee break (extra) all whilst enjoying the panoramic view of the Ionian Sea and Butriti Lake.

TUESDAY | Enjoy your free day within the lovely setting of the 4* Grand Ariti hotel, your home away from home for the last 7 days. Take a dip in the outdoor freshwater swimming pool or treat yourself to a cocktail from the main bar on the beautiful veranda overlooking the Lagoon. In the evening join your tour leader for a night of pure entertainment and hospitality only the Corfiots can offer. A three-course meal with unlimited local wine whilst watching dances from Corfu and beyond including the Syrtaki, Belly dancing and the world-famous Zorba. Get ready to be invited to dance to the rhythm during this night not to be missed. Clients on Half Board not joining the Greek Night will have dinner at Hotel. Whilst clients on Half Board joining the excursion will also enjoy a Buffet Lunch at the Hotel.

WEDNESDAY | After breakfast and checkout enjoy your last few hours in Corfu. Later head towards Corfu Airport for your flight back to Malta departing at 1900hrs with an estimated time of arrival in Malta of 1945hrs.
