FRIDAY 04 SEPTEMBER

Meet your tour leader at Malta International Airport for your early morning flight to Zagreb, departing at 0550hrs. Upon arrival, travel to central Croatia with a stop in Karlovac, where a visit to the Dubovac Castle (included). Here, you can explore the medieval fortress and take in panoramic views, followed by an optional lunch at the castle bistro. Your journey then continues to the picturesque village of Rastoke, renowned for its waterfalls, rivers, and traditional watermills. Later proceed to Zadar for hotel check-in and some time to relax. In the evening, you may join your tour leader for a walking tour of Zadar’s Old Town, featuring highlights such as the Sea Organ and Greeting to the Sun as well as some dining options.

SATURDAY 05 SEPTEMBER

After breakfast, travel to Novigrad Zadar, a charming coastal village where the river meets the Adriatic Sea. Known for its peaceful harbour, historic fortifications, and fjord-like scenery, it offers a serene start to the day. From here, embark on a boat excursion (extra) along the spectacular Zrmanja River Canyon, famous for its dramatic limestone cliffs, emerald waters, and breathtaking landscapes. There will be time to enjoy a refreshing swim in the crystal-clear waters. A delicious lunch served on board is included, making for a relaxing and complete day on the water. Afterwards, return to Zadar and enjoy the rest of the day at leisure.

SUNDAY 06 SEPTEMBER

Following breakfast, discover the cultural and natural highlights of the Šibenik region. Begin with a visit to the historic coastal city of Šibenik, known for its medieval fortresses, charming old town, and the UNESCO-listed Cathedral of St. James. Continue to Krka National Park (entrance included), where you can admire the stunning Skradinski Waterfall, stroll along wooden pathways and bridges, and take in the park’s lush scenery and tranquil atmosphere.

MONDAY 07 SEPTEMBER

After breakfast, depart Zadar and travel along the scenic Dalmatian coast to Split. Here, explore the UNESCO-listed Diocletian’s Palace, wandering through its historic streets, squares, and lively cafés. In the afternoon, continue to Omiš, a picturesque coastal town at the mouth of the Cetina River. Enjoy time to explore the old town, take in riverside views, or visit the nearby Fortica Fortress overlooking the dramatic cliffs and coastline.

TUESDAY 08 SEPTEMBER (PH)

After breakfast and check-out, visit Plitvice Lakes National Park (entrance included), one of Croatia’s most iconic natural attractions. The park is famed for its 16 interconnected turquoise lakes, cascading waterfalls—including the impressive Veliki Slap and scenic wooden walkways set within pristine landscapes. An electric boat ride across Lake Kozjak is included, offering a unique perspective of the park. Later continue to Zagreb Airport for your evening flight back to Malta, ending a memorable holiday exploring Croatia’s natural beauty and cultural treasures.
