SATURDAY 05 SEPTEMBER

Meet your tour leader at Malta International Airport at 1030hrs for your flight to Italy. Upon arrival, transfer by private coach to the charming mountain village of Campolasta. Check into your accommodation, followed by an optional dinner and overnight stay.

SUNDAY 06 SEPTEMBER

After breakfast, join your group and travel to Merano, known as the “Pearl of South Tyrol.” Enjoy leisure time strolling through its elegant streets, browsing boutique shops, and walking along the Passirio River. Later, experience the Sarner Kirchtag, a traditional festival held on the first Sunday of September, featuring festively decorated floats and marching bands from near and far.

MONDAY 07 SEPTEMBER

After breakfast, join your tour leader for an optional excursion to the Alto Adige region. Admire spectacular alpine scenery en route to Vipiteno, a jewel of the region. Continue to Bressanone, Tyrol’s oldest town, where historic arcades and charming alleyways blend past and present. After free time for lunch (not included), proceed to Ortisei in the heart of the Dolomites. Take the included cable car to Alpe di Siusi, Europe’s largest high-altitude alpine meadow, renowned for its panoramic mountain views.

TUESDAY 08 SEPTEMBER

Depart for a full-day excursion to Riva del Garda, set on the northern shore of Lake Garda beneath the Brenta Dolomites. Enjoy free time to explore the historic centre and lakeside promenade. Later, take a scenic boat cruise to the picturesque villages of Limone and Malcesine, famous for their cobbled streets and breathtaking views.

WEDNESDAY 09 SEPTEMBER

After breakfast, head to Brunico, where charming wooden cottages and the medieval splendour of its historic centre are set against the backdrop of the peak of Plan de Corones. Later travel to Lago di Braies, a stunning emerald-green alpine lake in the Dolomites, celebrated for its wooden boathouse, dramatic mountain reflections, and fairytale scenery. Free time for walking, hiking, or photography.

THURSDAY 10 SEPTEMBER

Today visit Trento, unique among Alpine cities. Enjoy free time in the historic centre, including its magnificent Duomo, piazza, and narrow streets. Continue to the Giardini di Castel Trauttmansdorff near Merano. Spanning 12 hectares, these gardens offer spectacular views over the town and surrounding mountains.

FRIDAY 11 SEPTEMBER

After breakfast, travel to the outskirts of Bolzano for a journey on the historic Renon-Ritten train, offering dramatic Dolomite landscapes and views of the earth pyramids. Stop at Lago di Carezza, one of the most beautiful lakes in the region, before returning to the hotel for lunch. In the evening, enjoy Bolzano’s enchanting atmosphere by night.

SATURDAY 12 SEPTEMBER

After breakfast, enjoy leisure time before transferring to the airport for your return flight to Malta, concluding your unforgettable journey through Italy.
