FRIDAY 05 FEBRUARY

Meet your tour leader at 1000hrs at Malta International Airport for check-in for your flight to Zagreb. Upon arrival, transfer to Bled, known as the ‘Pearl of the Slovenian Alps’. Check-in and room allocation followed by optional dinner. Later you may join your tour leader for a short familiarization walk around Lake Bled.

SATURDAY 06 FEBRUARY

Soon after breakfast, head towards Ljubljana, the majestic capital city of Slovenia for a walking tour of this enchanting baroque Old Town. Enjoy free time to stroll through the boutiques and local market or perhaps savour lunch by the riverbank. Later join the tour leader for a panoramic boat cruise (extra) along the Ljubljanica River. In the afternoon, continue to BTC Shopping Village, the largest shopping area in Slovenia. Return to your hotel for optional dinner before overnight.

SUNDAY 07 FEBRUARY

After breakfast, visit Kamnik, a charming medieval town nestled in the Kamnik-Savinja Alps. Join your tour leader and discover the town centre that combines rich history, cultural heritage, and unspoiled nature. In the afternoon continue to Velika Planina, a high karst plateau in the Kamnik–Savinja Alps in Slovenia, known for its stunning views, traditional huts, and rich natural and cultural heritage. You will take the cable car (included in the excursion option) and reach an elevation of around 1,500 meters. Free time for lunch and personal sightseeing before return to the hotel for optional dinner and overnight.

MONDAY 08 FEBRUARY

After breakfast, travel to Logar Valley, considered as one of the most beautiful Alpine glacial valleys in Europe. Admire pristine nature as well as the spectacular 90-metre Rinka Waterfall (weather permitting), situated at the head of Logar Valley. Later return to Bled where you may opt to board a traditional Pletna boat (extra) to Bled Island. Visit the Church of the Assumption of Mary (donation not included), ring the wishing bell, or enjoy coffee with Potica cake. You will then proceed to Bohinj, the largest natural lake in Slovenia, surrounded by the towering Julian Alps, before returning to your hotel. Relax in the indoor pool before optional dinner.

TUESDAY 09 FEBRUARY

After breakfast, check out and visit the Postojna Caves (included in the excursion option), one of the world’s largest cave systems formed by the Pivka River. An electric train takes you inside, followed by a guided tour through its impressive formations. In the afternoon, transfer to Zagreb Airport for check-in of your return flight to Malta departing at 1830hrs.
