SATURDAY 14 SEPTEMBER | Join the tour leader at the Malta International Airport at 1000hrs in time for your flight to Milan departing at 1245hrs. Upon arrival, embark on your private group transfer towards Campolasta in the Dolomites area in time for dinner, check-in, room allocation and overnight.

SUNDAY 15 SEPTEMBER | After breakfast join your fellow travel companions for Sunday Mass or enjoy the tranquility of this scenic village. Later join the tour leader on an excursion to the nearby San Martino Mountain top, a popular skiing area which will be in full summer splendor. Later head back to the hotel for some free time before dinner (optional). Soon afterward head out to Bolzano, to enjoy such a spectacular city by night.

MONDAY 16 SEPTEMBER | Today visit Bressanone, Tyrol’s oldest town with magnificent view of the Dolomites. Stroll under the town’s arcades and down winding alleyways, where past and present are harmoniously connected before heading towards Bolzano’s outskirts to experience various modes of transport including the historic Renon-Ritten train and cable car (both included) for some of the most dramatic scenery in the Dolomites, including the “earth pyramid” rock formations and the Corno del Renon peak. Later head back to the hotel for dinner (optional) and overnight.

TUESDAY 17 SEPTEMBER | Join your fellow group members on yet another remarkable day (optional) excursion to Trento. The capital of Trentino is quietly confident and easy to like. Bicycles glide along spotless streets fanning out from the atmospheric, intimate Piazza del Duomo, students clink spritzes by Renaissance fountains, and a dozen historical eras intermingle seamlessly among stone castles, shady porticoes, and the city’s signature medieval frescoes. While there’s no doubt, you’re in Italy, Trento does have its share of Austrian influence: apple strudel is ubiquitous and beer halls not uncommon.

WEDNESDAY 18 SEPTEMBER | Soon after breakfast head to Giardini Sissi (entrance extra) on the outskirts of Merano. That cover an area of 12 hectares and extend over an altitude difference of 100 metres, offering a stunning view of 80 different garden landscapes of the city of Merano and of the surrounding mountain ranges. Later head to Merano itself with its leafy boulevards and sunny microclimate. Once a Habsburg-era spa and the hot destination of its day, favoured by the Austrian royals. Later head back to hotel in time for dinner and overnight.

THURSDAY 19 SEPTEMBER | Today another optional excursion awaits you, this time to Bolzano, the provincial capital of South Tyrol, followed by a relaxing afternoon at Lago di Carezza, one of the most beautiful and intimate lakes in the Dolomites. Later head back to the hotel for dinner (optional) and overnight.

FRIDAY 20 SEPTEMBER | Soon after breakfast and checkout head off to Milan for your flight back to Malta expected to land back in Malta at 1725hrs.
