THURSDAY 10 DECEMBER

After a delightful breakfast, set out on an optional full-day excursion to explore two of South Tyrol’s most magical Christmas markets. First, visit Vipiteno, a charming mountain village transformed into a winter wonderland during the festive season. Later, head to Brunico, where charming wooden cottages and the medieval splendour of its historic centre are set against the backdrop of the snow-covered peak of Plan de Corones, creating an unforgettable Christmas scene. Then, continue your journey to Bressanone, where the market encircles the magnificent Piazza Duomo, with its splendid cathedral standing proudly at the heart of the town.

FRIDAY 11 DECEMBER

Set off on another optional excursion to Bolzano, the capital of Alto Adige, South Tyrol, home to Italy’s largest Christmas market, framed by the stunning Rosengarten mountains. The journey continues to the charming town of Merano. Beyond its Christmas markets, Merano’s old town invites you with medieval alleys, elegant gates, and majestic buildings. You will also be invited to join your fellow group members for an incredible light show in the gardens of Trauttmansdorff Castle: Lumamagica. Were visitors would be able to discover artistic light installations, interactive elements, and atmospheric scenes inspired by the Austrian Empress Elisabeth’s zest for life and places of longing.

SATURDAY 12 DECEMBER

Another enchanting option awaits: an all-day excursion to the Val Gardena region. Your first stop is Ortisei, a picturesque Christmas village filled with carols and the irresistible aroma of freshly baked treats. The adventure continues to Selva di Val Gardena, famed for its captivating ‘Mountain Christmas’ atmosphere, a truly magical seasonal setting in the high mountain realm with a stop at a very popular shopping mall: the Twenty Shopping mall included. After a day full of exploration and natural beauty, return to the hotel to join your fellow travellers for an optional dinner and overnight stay.

SUNDAY 13 DECMBER

After breakfast, venture to the outskirts of Bolzano to experience an unforgettable journey aboard the historic Renon-Ritten train and cable car (both included), showcasing some of the most dramatic landscapes in the Dolomites, including the iconic earth pyramids. Later immerse yourself in the enchanting city of Trento, a true gem among the alpine cities. Stroll through its lively piazzas, where over 60 wooden stalls showcase local crafts and gastronomic delights. Enjoy free time to wander the narrow alleys, visit the grand Duomo, and explore the city’s other captivating sights.
