DAY 1 | Check in at Malta International Airport at 0330hrs for your flight to Manchester, departing at 0545hrs. Upon arrival, your Maltese host Phyllis will greet you and escort you to your seaside B&B, The Trevone – a traditional Victorian-style hotel in Llandudno, North Wales. After check-in and room allocation, enjoy a short but informative stroll around this charming coastal village. Dinner (extra) at one of the many eateries and restaurants in Llandudno.
DAY 2 | After breakfast, embark on an excursion to Portmeirion (extra), an enchanting Italianate-style village set on a private peninsula with breathtaking coastal views. Continue to the picturesque village of Beddgelert in Snowdonia, before ending the day with a visit to the stunning Swallow Falls (included) before returning to Llandudno in time for dinner (extra).
DAY 3 | After breakfast, head to the seaside town of Beaumaris in Anglesey Island, connected to the mainland by the Menai and Brittania bridges. Weather permitting, enjoy an 80-minute ferry trip to Puffin Island (extra), home to a vast array of wildlife and stunning scenery. Later, visit the uniquely named village – Europe’s longest place name and enjoy some free time. Before returning to Llandudno, stop at Menai Bridge for a pleasant walk along the Belgian Pier and beneath the iconic Menai Suspension Bridge.
DAY 4 | This morning, travel to Porthmadog to board The Mountain Spirit (extra), hauled by one of the famous Double Fairlie locomotives. Experience ever-changing scenery as the train crosses the Cob embankment, climbs through valleys and villages, and winds through ancient woodlands before emerging high on the valley side. After passing the Dduallt spiral, a tunnel, and Llyn Ystradau reservoir, arrive at Blaenau Ffestiniog. Enjoy a 50-minute stop to explore this historic mining village before returning.
DAY 5 | After breakfast, enjoy some leisure time in Llandudno before visiting the stunning Bodnant Gardens. Wander through its sweeping lawns, terraces, and woodlands – home to rare plants gathered from around the world over the last 150 years. Continue to Conwy, a walled medieval town dominated by its majestic castle. Spend free time at Conwy Marina for lunch (not included) before returning to your hotel.
DAY 6 | Enjoy a relaxed morning visit to the peaceful Conwy Water Gardens (extra), then travel to Chester, a beautiful medieval city known for its charming atmosphere and historic sites. Visit Chester Cathedral (entrance not included), the Town Hall, and other local landmarks. Ample free time will be allocated for shopping or even a river cruise (not included) before returning to Llandudno.
DAY 7 | After breakfast, enjoy a final stroll around Llandudno before transferring to Liverpool Airport for your return flight to Malta, departing at 1735 hrs.
