SATURDAY 12 DECEMBER

Meet your tour leader at the Malta International Airport at 0800hrs for check-in of your flight to Wrocław, departing at 1015hrs. Upon arrival, transfer to Wrocław city centre and visit Ostrów Tumski (Cathedral Island), overlooking the River Oder. Admire landmarks such as the Tumski Bridge and the Collegiate Church of the Holy Cross and St. Bartholome and experience Wrocław’s spectacular Christmas Market, among the largest and most popular in Poland.You may also join your tour leader for a walking tour passing the Market Hall, St. Elizabeth’s Church Tower, Plac Solny and Rynek, one of Europe’s most beautiful market squares during which ample dining options could be pointed out. Later, proceed to your centrally located hotel for check-in and room allocation before overnight.

SUNDAY 13 DECEMBER

After breakfast, travel to Wałbrzych to visit Ksiąz Castle (included), known as the Pearl of Lower Silesia. Explore the castle interiors and enjoy time to admire its beautiful surroundings. The excursion also includes a visit to the Palm House, home to an impressive collection of exotic plants. Later in the afternoon, you may join an optional guided tour of a vineyard in Zachowice and learn about the production process whilst sampling a selection of local wines.

MONDAY 14 DECEMBER

Soon after breakfast, depart for Poznań, one of Poland’s oldest cities. Join your tour leader for a walking tour of the Old Market Square, Ostrów Tumski (Cathedral Island) and the Archcathedral Basilica of St. Peter and St. Paul, the oldest cathedral in Poland. Enjoy free time for lunch, personal sightseeing and a visit to the city’s Christmas Market before returning to Wrocław in the late afternoon.

TUESDAY 15 DECEMBER

On your last day in Poland, enjoy breakfast and a lazy morning earmarked for personal sight seeing. You may continue exploring the Christmas Market or visit Galeria Dominikańska, one of Wrocław’s main shopping centres. In the afternoon, transfer to Wrocław Nicolaus Copernicus Airport for check-in of your return flight to Malta, departing at 1645 hrs.
